Mafia is great with a large group. This game has intrigue, mystery, murder, deduction, majority & minority conflicts, innocent & guilty. As a citizen try to discover who the Mafia is my sheer guesswork, and then try to gain the favor of the populous in voting to annihilate the suspected mafia. As the detective attempt to discover the Mafia and kill them before they kill you. As the Mafia keep people silent and hide your identity as you try to win the game by killing all the civilians.

Almost like the board game version of 'Hay Day' the farming game follows each player throughout the year as they grow crops, buy cows, fix tractors, and become the wealthiest farmer of them all. I love Risk! I just can't say enough about this fantastic game of world domination. A blast for the group that loves battles, strategy, armies, conquering the enemy, intense conflict, and intrigue. Each player wages war on the other armies as they battle to conquer the world. This game is just awesome!

Catch Phrase is fast paced, fast talking, fast passing, fast winning (and losing) game. Split your group in two (Guys & Girls), sit in a circle guy, girl, guy, girl, and start this a crazy ride. Try to explain to your team as fast as you can a word without saying it! When your team guesses the word pass it to the next person. You get a point if the other team is caught at the end of the buzzer still holding the word dispenser. With the buzzers increasing beeping and everyone shouting, this game gets intense!

Two Rooms And A Boom is the most unique game I have ever come across. This game is highly interactive, intriguing, intense, live-action, and awesome!!! I would compare it to Mafia or Werewolf but better! Or Handshake of Doom but ten times better!

The factors involved make it so that every game is different. You never play the same game!
The plots and twists are mind-boggling. It is so very versatile. It is AMAZING!

As blue team, protect your president by keeping him/or her in the opposite room as the bomb. As the red team, try to assassinate the president by getting the bomb in the same room as the president.

Chess...need I say more?

Actually...I guess I will =)

Chess is one of the oldest games ever, and has been played for generations.

Make up a tournament and play multiple times with other people in your group. This game is great for a group setting but still leaves the chance to have a one-on-one conversation. You would be surprised how many people don't know how to play. This makes a great opportunity to teach a game every
person should know.

While the original game only involves two players (which is so fun)  you can find
chess games that involve four players to throw a huge twist on a regular classic.

Note: Guys be nice and considerate in playing chess with girls. If you are better than them, don't annihilate them in the first two minutes. Help them out, teach them strategy, and make it a positive experience. If you don't, you might end up seeing the chess board in mid-flight halfway through the game with pieces strewn everywhere. It has happened! There are competitive people out there.

Game Night - Date Idea #10

Game night is so much FUN! Who doesn't love a chance to compete, laugh-out-loud, strategize, act, run-around, roll-the-dice, pick a card, trash-talk, and win!!! Games are probably one of the best ways to spark conversation and laughter, that makes any date a hit. This date is soooo easy. Get together with friends, pull out some favourite games, grab a pile of snacks, and there you go--an amazing date night!

What not to do at a game night. Don't play Video Games! It is a huge waste of time, most girls don't like them, and it gives no chance to share, talk, or connect when you are staring at a screen.

Snowshoeing - Date Idea #9

Let's face it, Winter is just absolutely gorgeous and the forest is so beautiful. Combine the two and you get beau-geous (which sounds really bad when you say it but clearly it means very pretty=) Walking in the woods in the cold air and discovering the snow covered landscape is such a wonderful experience. Take pictures, snowball fight, talk together, and enjoy the winter wonderland. 

Get a whole group together to tromp around the forest! Afterwards, warm up at a friend's house and eat some soup, drink some hot cocoa, and play some games!

Tubing - Date Idea #8

It's like a water slide at a water park, but frozen!!! The thrill of the speed, the drop that scares you, the snow that sprays in your face--this is snow tubing! Snow Tubing is crazy cool...sliding down the slope mixed with the laughter of friends. Any size group can go to have a blast during this cold time of the year. 

Tubing is the winterized water slide!
